By Kelvin Malick
The Africa’s Business Heroes (ABH) 2026 Semi-Finals, scheduled for 21–22 August in Nairobi, will bring together the Top 20 African entrepreneurs competing for a place in the Top 10 Grand Finale.
The press conference is expected to feature:
Introduction of the Top 20 entrepreneurs and their businesses.
Business pitches before the judging panel.
Discussions on innovation, job creation, technology, investment and scalability.
Remarks from ABH organisers, judges and business leaders.
Media engagement and networking opportunities.
Importance of ABH: The programme provides African entrepreneurs with funding, mentorship, visibility and business networks, while promoting home-grown solutions to African challenges. It also encourages job creation, innovation and youth entrepreneurship across the continent.
For Kenya and Nairobi, hosting the semi-finals highlights the country's growing role as a regional hub for entrepreneurship, technology and innovation, while giving local audiences greater exposure to leading African businesses.
